The L-Acoustics SB28 is a high-performance subwoofer featuring two 18" neodymium transducers. With a front-loaded bass-reflex design, it extends low-frequency response down to 25 Hz, ensuring exceptional cone excursion and minimal thermal compression at high levels. The SB28 incorporates a progressive vent profile, enhancing peak SPL by up to 5 dB compared to previous models.

Powered by the L-Acoustics LA8 amplified controller, it includes advanced DSP filtering, crossover functions, system EQ, and protection against thermal and over-excursion issues. The SB28 is built from high-grade Baltic birch plywood with a durable steel grille and finished in dark grey brown.

The subwoofer includes integrated rigging rails for easy flying and stacking, and a single 4-pin Speakon connector. It offers both standard and cardioid configurations, making it a versatile option for L-Acoustics systems like K1, KUDO, V-DOSC, and ARCS, providing powerful and articulate low-frequency support.
