The V-SUB is a high-performance, flyable cardioid subwoofer from d&b audiotechnik's V-Series, designed to deliver precise low-frequency reproduction while minimizing unwanted energy behind the system. It features two long-excursion neodymium drivers: a front-facing 18" bass-reflex driver and a rear-facing 12" two-chamber bandpass driver, both powered by a single amplifier channel. This configuration ensures a cardioid dispersion pattern, reducing reverberant field excitation at low frequencies. Constructed from marine plywood with an impact- and weather-resistant Polyurea Cabinet Protection (PCP) finish, the V-SUB includes integrated rigging equipment for flexible deployment options, either ground-stacked or flown. It is compatible with various d&b amplifiers, including the D20, D40, D80, and 40D models.
