The L-Acoustics X8 is a 2-way passive coaxial loudspeaker that delivers high-fidelity sound in a compact form factor. It features an 8-inch low-frequency driver and a 1.5-inch diaphragm compression driver arranged coaxially, ensuring a 100° axisymmetric directivity pattern for consistent coverage. Equipped with L-Vents laminar venting technology, the X8 minimizes turbulence and port noise, enhancing low-frequency efficiency. Operating across a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz, it achieves a maximum SPL of 129 dB. Weighing 12 kg (26.5 lbs), the X8 is constructed from premium-grade Baltic beech and birch plywood, featuring a coated steel grill with acoustically neutral 3D fabric. Its versatile design allows for various mounting options, including pole, wall, ceiling, or flown configurations, making it ideal for live monitoring and short-throw sound reinforcement applications.
